• Tennis Pavilion

We were asked to design a tennis pavilion as part of a sprawling estate in Bel Air, with a "mid-century modern" feel and details. Built on two levels, the pavilion is primarily composed of a monolithic stone wall, and the glazed box containing a guest suite which extends from it. Below the glassy volume, an open-air lower level accommodates a spa and bar.

Anchoring the composition at one end is a dramatic glass spiral stair, while the massive stone wall to the rear provides a visual anchor for the whole scene.
