These offices for an aggressive young hedge fund, although conceptually simple, convey an air of sophistication and dynamism. The reception area is organized around a circular stainless steel and walnut desk with a large aquarium backdrop that serves as a screen for the private spaces beyond. Once in the main space, a curving glass wall defines the circulation path and conveys a sense of movement and spatial fluidity. The glass is laminated with a rice paper band to provide privacy for the executive offices while allowing natural light and views into and out of the administrative areas.
