The firm's design for its own studio fosters an interactive community atmosphere. The space is organized in two zones: a central block of workstations flanked by secondary spaces along either side. The workstations are grouped in open pairs along a central "street"; each station is marked by a chalkboard-clad tower for file storage and informal sketching. An overhead raceway for networking, telephone, and electrical cables shadows the path of the street; the movement of data literally reflecting the circulation of people below.

The secondary spaces include offices, a conference room, and space for a 23-foot communal table for office meetings and informal sketching sessions. The offices and conference room are sheathed in corrugated metal cladding, strategically interrupted by slot windows to allow visual participation in the main space while retaining a measure of acoustic privacy.
